I dispair. Very amusing thread about bizarre dreams. One story actually bought tears to my eyes it was so funny. Real potential for some off the wall fun.

A couple of posters didn’t understand so lobbied MN HQ to get it deleted. The definition is a troll and the trolls won because MN HQ were half asleep.

It was just about odd dreams. That’s all.

Probably because some people get fed up clicking on a thread title that sounds like a potential genuine issue and then on page 3 discover it's someone's dream. Why not just make the thread title "Weird dream" from the outset? No harm, no foul, no need to delete.

It wasn't page 3, it was about the OP's 3rd post that said she was asleep... I agree it shouldn't have been deleted

I am so cross about this. Just because some people have a very dull and pedestrian sense of humour , we all have to laugh the same way now ?

ShatnersWig here's a revolutionary idea.. if you click on a thread you don't like. Close it. Move on to another. Leave it for the people who were enjoying it rather than spoiling other people's fun by reporting completely harmless chat. !

Yep - why have a category called Fun & Games if we can’t joke a little, especially during these long winter months.

I wasn't on whatever thread you're talking about. I have seen others where it wasn't until a couple of pages in that it became clear people were going on about dreams.

Of course they will, even though it isn’t strictly what the TAAT rules are about. The original thread broke no guidelines other than MNs own. As I said the trolls won because MN were and still are half asleep.

That's always the case. Rules are made by those in charge for everyone else to obey. They don't have to, because they're in charge. It's do as I say, not do as I do.
