With a newborn and a toddler I'm quickly becoming aware of how time flies.

So, what recommendations do you have for me of things to take advantage of while they are little? There must be some! Such as priority parking in some places, or the community cinema we recently visited, specifically for toddlers.

Hit me with your best suggestions, before mine are no longer tiny and lovely 😊

Going to places that don't charge for children under 3. Legoland, Peppa Pig World, that kind of thing.

I would also say enjoy the spontaneity you have to go to places during the day while everyone else is at work or school. DS is 7 and I miss the days of doing whatever we wanted before he started nursery and we were forever bound by school term times.

Going on ride on trains or slides at soft play. Indulge your inner toddler. Too soon you will be getting to put your feet up in the cafe whilst they climb and slide without you. Lets face it theres a very short Window in adult life for this kind of thing. I will still ridethe mini railway when my kids are too cool to do it!

Term time holidays, chunky cuddles, Julia Donaldson bedtime stories, fish finger sandwiches and family naps.

Deciding what they wear. Buying toys (rather than gadgets and crop tops Hmm ) for Christmas presents and birthdays. Baby kisses.

Holidays during term time, family naps, snuggles, crafting with glitter and rejoicing in the output, family swings wherever there is a huge witches cradle...
