Hey I'm a mature student at the University of York and looking for accomodation next year. I'm currently living with 18/19 year olds and not enjoying it at all. I'm only in my early 20's but the lack of maturity in them is really starting to annoy me and my living arrangements are making me miserable. Unfortunately I am contracted to my house till the 29th June so I'm looking for accommodation from then.
How do I go about either finding a studio flat/ 1 or 2 room apartment (provided I can afford the rent) or become a lodger and living with someone else. The only income I have is my PIP and student maintenance (which is in the higher bracket due to poor household income).
