What's your favourite meal?

Thinking of new ideas for meals to switch it up a bit and it got me thinking what everyone's favourite meals are.

I'm a carb, cheese and meat kind of woman. Chorizo pasta with oil and cheese or a cheeseburger and triple cooked chips. If there are potatoes/bread/pasta with meat and cheese, I'm in.

What's yours?

Topped with tons of cheese and served with garlic bread (and reluctantly a side salad)

Chorizo and lentil stew;
Fry a red onion, a chilli, 3 cloves of garlic with as much chorizo as you like, then add peppers and mushrooms. Add 1/4 pint chicken stock, chopped tomatoes, tomartoe purée, black pepper, 3 teaspoons of smoked paprika. Boil some lentils as pack says and add to the rest. All done a lovely smokey, lentil stew. I always serve with nice bread & salted butter of course

Lasagne and chunky home made chips 😋 I do have salad too you know to balance the carbs out!

Meatballs and spaghetti with loads of cheese.

Home made chicken Kiev, chunky chips, mushy peas

Any curry with rice

Thai green curry with vegs and tofu served with coconut rice is my favourite when eating out... never the same when I make it at home though.

One of my favourite home-cooked everyday meals is this super-quick cheesy spinachy pasta:

Put cream cheese, frozen spinach, peas and mustard in a pan and warm through. Then stir in cooked spaghetti and serve with fresh Parmesan. Always good :)

Really smoky pulled pork with crispy sweet potato fries, coleslaw, sweetcorn & brown baps.

Vegetable curry, especially DH's version. He swears he uses the same recipe as me but somehow his always tastes far nicer!

Chinese style pork with noodles, which is what we're having tonight actually.

Jacket potatoes, egg mayo & salad. I know, I know its winter. But I've got to incorporate raw veggies for my condition.
