Help!! Maths failure - need to measure girth of package for UPS

This is embarrassing!! I have totally cocked up on an ebay package I need to deliver that I woefully underestimated the postage on (because I couldn't disassemble the item when I thought I could!)

It puts me outwith my usual cheapish delivery modes and into £20+++. Nevermind I'll have to take the hit. BUT I can't work out whether I meet UPS requirements.

Pretty please can someone help me? The package weighs 7kg and measures 75cm Length x 42cm Width x 80cm High. The cheapest quote seems to be UPS and their requirements are as follows:
Max Length = 80cms
Max Weight = 20kg
Max Length + Girth = 330cm

It's the max length plus girth that I am stuck on. I've googled but keep coming up with different answers which I won't bore you with how I've arrived at.

Can anyone help a maths dumbo (I failed O level a long time ago and had to resit and then got a Grade 1 CSE - yes I'm that old) Still managed to have a career that involved tons of spreadsheets and budgets though but never had to calculate this before!

I will send virtual flowers and chocolates to any kind soul who will help - especially if they can help in the next half hour or so?!!!

girth is 75+42 x 2 +80+314 you are just ok

MissMalice · 05/11/2018 10:01

314cm

girth is all round the parcel ie 2 x width + 2 x depth ( 2 shortest sides) than add length ( longest side)

Thank you all!!💐💐💐🍫🍫 I’m erring towards UPS because I can drop off but am mid-housemove and can’t be waiting in for hours on end for collection. Of course it all makes perfect sense now I see how you’ve done it 🙃
