Ffs I'm falling asleep on sofa at 9.15pm and waking up every morning at 5am ... Still .... 😡

The clocks changed a week ago. Why can't my body adjust?

Help! 😳

Nope not me sorry, got over it pretty quickly!

LockedOutOfMN · 05/11/2018 20:51

Yes, me too, OP. I also hate the dark evenings.

Lidlfix · 05/11/2018 20:52

Me too and jet lag also kills me. This is not the healthiest option but I find a night out or partying helps to reset as I always get a second wind with alcohol and falling asleep on the couch is not an option. I will sleep later the next morning and then it all seems to fall into place

amusedbush · 05/11/2018 20:55

I’m the same. These dark evenings make them seem looooong and I’m dead to the world by 10pm.

I’m a lot better with this clock change. It seems to suit me for some reason. I really struggle with the summer clock change thatbkits of people seem to like.

MsMightyTitanAndHerTroubadours · 05/11/2018 21:01

well, I am waking up about half seven/eight, and that's lovely, no sarky remarks from dh) I could sleep till ten though when we are on BST :o

and the "earlier" nights suit me, I like to be in bed by ten and wouldn't mind earlier, but I try to stay up with himself to be sociable

I do think this clock changing is a whole pile of aggravating bollocks mind you
I struggle much more when it goes the other way in spring.

SlowlyShrinking · 05/11/2018 21:48

It doesn’t affect me at all. I do tend to get up at different times anyway though, depending on whether I’m working or not, anything from about 5.45 to 10.30

It usually takes about 2 weeks for the clock changes to settle down in our house. Not because of our respective body clocks but because of all the bloody clocks in the place..
We have to wait for the chiming clocks to run down, or else spend half an hour adjusting the chimes. DH changes some of the other clocks.. I change some of the clocks... consequently, some of the clocks get changed twice. Some get changed properly. Some don't get changed at all.
In the pre iPad era, It was chaos for days.
And yes, I know we've got too many clocks..
