What can I do for my birthday tomorrow?

So I’m a grown up, so I don’t expect any birthday ridiculousness.
But it’s my birthday tomorrow, the 5th, and I’ve found out today that DP is gambling again. Which he’s denied but I have proof, which I can’t share cos I don’t quite trust him not to get aggressive.
So whilst I work out what to do for me and my children, I’d like to take some time tomorrow, for me, to think, in a nice place, just me.
I work, but they can cope without me for one day.
So what shall I do?

National trust garden or park and lunch?

Shopping or mooching?

Seaside or river?

Or my personal best thinking place (apart from the car) a mountain or hill. There is something about being high up that helps you get a metaphorical perspective as well as a literal one.

Sorry your facing such challenging times with your dh. Hope it works out for you whatever you decide to do.

Have you got a day spa near you? You might be able to get a cheap last- minute day pass?
Otherwise, day shopping and lunch? Walk in the countryside? Cinema?

Thank you. I like the idea of somewhere high and will find a hill.
