FFS, impetigo and coldsore yet again!

I've always got the above every so often, not a huge amount. Yet lately I keep getting it. I've also never had them both together until this year and I'm on the second bout of them together over the last couple of months. Last time it was 2 coldsores and impetigo all together, lovely.

Familiar tingle and itch is there, I'm whacking on the cream to minimise but it's getting right on my tits now. Why does this keep happening!

I don’t know about the link but I find holding ice against the cold sore is one of the best remedies. Good luck, they are awful!

You need to go the doctor and get antivirals. Just a cream wont do. You need pills for the cold sores/herpes.

Do you exfoliate your skin regularly OP? I find I always get impetigo after I've buffed my face excessively.

Are you very run down/stressed/not getting good sleep op? I find eating sugary foods when I'm hungry brings on a cold sore. I always dab with hydrogen peroxide followed by sudocrem. Haven't had a bad one for years since doing this. Also I used Burnshield hydrogel on really really bad impetigo for my child and it cleared completely over night. She wouldnt take the 2 types antibiotics that were prescribed. Tea tree oil is the main ingredient.

Yes to systemic antiviral meds. Possibly ABx too.
But you need to consider why your immune system is poor so you should see your gp.
