If I eat roast beef tonight, will it skew my iron blood tests this week?

I'm having a few blood tests done. One of the papers is for a 'full blood count', the other is various iron checks such as ferritin.

Will my roast dinner tonight affect the readings? I don't really eat red meat that often. Is it daft to wonder if it could affect the overall picture of how my iron is doing?

On my period and feeling very tired - that and the cold weather making me crave a big Sunday roast dinner!
