Can anyone help me figure out how to work this clasp?

It's for attaching onto a pram so baby can play with the beads. I can't for the life of me figure out how to open this clasp. Help!

The smooth top 'shell' flips up, toward the ring bit. That will open and close the pinchy bit

It should just pull apart. Then push together to close.

Those are like braces clasps.

You lift the flat bit (the top in your first photo) and it opens up the bit with the round spiky things. Then you close it on a a soft or fabric thing and it doesn’t damage it.

This way, only the shell, both the pinchers will stay closed until after the shell is lifted
