I’m looking for some books for my 7 year old ds for christmas that will help reinforce the message I’m trying to get across to him of not giving up, overcoming failures, learning from mistakes....you get the idea! He’s very much into not trying if he doesn’t think he can do something or being incredibly silly to pretend he doesn’t care. Rather than grit his teeth and try again he would much rather give up and not try at all. I know it’s hard to understand at this age, but I would like to help him overcome this negative attitude and see that failures are learning experiences - so has anyone any recommendations?
