Dream feed

Do you or did you give your child a dream feed, if so how/what did u do?

Yes, did it with DC1 from about 3 months. I would give a bottle of expressed. At first would scoop him up when he was still sound asleep, pop the bottle in then place him gently back. He eventually got old enough to hand him the bottle.

Dc2 is still too wee at 5 weeks. Will think about doing it in a couple of months.

Gently lift sleeping baby and BF, they instinctively latch on and feed while asleep, after a bit we did a nappy change, then feed bit more, hold upright for approx 30 secs over shôulder, but as they take long slow sucks while asleep they don't have wind, lay back in cot and they are still asleep, then you dive back to bed
