Books for a sensitive 7 year old

My daughter loves the rainbow fairies books but she finishes them very quickly and could do with something a bit more substantial. She is a sensitive soul and gets upset easily so it can’t be scary or too sad. She already has most of the Roald Dahl (my childhood faves!) and a couple of David Walliams plus the worst witch, but she always comes back to the fairies. Any ideas? Thanks

Thank you. She did try the magic faraway tree by Blyton but didn’t like it, she found them almost getting stuck stressful! I will look up enchanted wood/ Kes gray/ magic treehouse.

Paddington.
Iggy and Me books by Jenny Valentine. These are modern day versions of the My Naughty Little Sister books by Dorothy Edwards, which she might also like.
