Non itchy eczema !! picture warning !!

My child has what I think looks like eczema in the ear canal but I can't be sure, it isn't itchy or painful but looks awful, any ideas for solutions please?

I do wonder if it could be a shampoo build up?

They can be a great help when you don’t want to bother a GP but want someone to have a look!
I am no expert! (Neither a GP or a pharmacist!) but it looks a bit like a waxy build up and dried skin.
My eczema is itchy and red. Tends to be raised and quite angry looking.

That doesn't look like eczema to me. I would put some Vaseline on it to soften it and try to wipe it off with a piece of cotton wool.
