Disneyland Paris

Thinking of surprising the kids for xmas and going to Disney for 3 nights over the Christmas break (28-31st dec)

I have never been so a bit clueless and would appreciate any tips.

We arrive early friday and leave late monday. How many days would you need for the parks?

How much spending money?
Should we stay near the park or half way between Paris centre and the park?

How much would you expect to pay all in for 3 nights? (Flying from Scotland, 2x adults, 2x children)

I went on Boxing Day a few years ago. Was lovely and a bit quieter. Had da who was 7.. stayed at Newport to minimise walking. Got a half board meal option, which was enough. You can spend a fortune or do it reasonably cheap. It wasn’t as eye watering lay expensive as I thought. But we were happy with Macdonald’s/sandwich type lunches.

Boys easier than girls I think as no pressure to do princes ~shit~ stuff 😊

If you do stay on park definitely go half board, we did b and b only and we were so hungry as only food on park was not good and very overpriced burger and chips type stuff. I'd have preferred to be off site as was hallucinating mickey mouse after 2 days, but it is convenient

Would you say £2000 for everything would be enough?

Really undecided whether to go there for 3 nights on centre parcs for 2 nights for £1000.

Disney rather than CP. CP is a duped up caravan with a free pool.

Check the French DP site... it’s often cheaper, there’s an option to translate into English

How old are the kids?
I would stay onsite if it’s 3 nights and first visit; closer to the action and no faffing with transport. Not been at that time of year but have heard of people taking proper ski-wear due to the temps.
