Please help decipher this before I get scammed by "justfab"!

I have just gone on "justfab" and found some boots I want that are discounted to £8.95 if I sign up to their mailbox. Did that and went to check out and this is what is says at the top
"Membership: No minimum period
Price: None, if you click Skip This Month' in your Boutique by the 5th of each month. If you don't purchase or skip by the 5th, your account will be charged £35.00 for a credit, which you can use later at any time."
I can't figure out if they are saying I have subscribed to something and am going to end up paying £35 a month for something? If I buy these boots can I get out of this random subscription that they haven't mentioned until now? If I back out now will I still have subscribed and end up paying? The bastards are being deliberately confusing to con me!

DD did this by accident. She emailed them and asked to cancel the order and subscription and they did it within 24 hours.

Yes if you buy something you are charged £35 unless you "skip" each month on your account. It is a bit scammy imo.

But I already ticked that I wanted the offer and would subscribe to their offer which I assumed was a fucking email not a subscription the cheeky fuckers! So am I sucked in whether I buy the boots or not now?

I got my boots. Lasted about 2 years so worth the £9 I paid. I did a couple of months as I like their floaty dresses. I cancelled no problem.

It's like free Amazon prime. If you're likely to forget to cancel, don't sign up.

Thanks beans. It is the 3rd now and says it needs cancelling by the 5th. Can I order now and cancel the membership tomorrow? Will I get my boots?

Why not order them, do a skip the month thing and then once you receive the boots cancel the membership.

Fabletics are the same company. I ordered some sports wear from them. Skipped a month and then called and cancelled with no problems. As long as you remember to cancel it’s no issue. If you wait and order after the 5th you’ll likely have until 5th December to cancel.

The sports wear is really good quality especially for the price.
