Best way to sell a piece of jewellery? šŸ¤”

About 10 years ago I got myself a diamond eternity ring, I used to work in a jewellery shop (since closed down) and I fancied one at the time. But I’ve barely worn it. I’d like to sell it, and buy a laptop, but what would be the best way to go about it? It’s 18ct white gold, I’ve forgotten the carat rating/colour etc.....do I get it valued first?

Unfortunately second hand rings are not really worth anything but yes you need to get it valued really as this will give you a realistic price

I'd get it valued by local auction house. High street jewellers will rip you off. I'd sell privately, ebay or such like.
