Things to do with a 6 and 2 year old?

Hello,

Would really like to take my 6 and 2 year old somewhere nice today. I'm finding it really hard to think of places!

My 6 year old feels very hard done by that he has a 2 year old sibling! (My mum seems to think his bad attitude doesn't warrant a day out, so I suppose I'm asking if she is right with that too!?) although, I don't feel comfortable punishing him for that, it was to be expected when we chose to have a baby when he was 4.

Any ideas are very much welcome! He'd enjoy a museum or similar, but I know my 2 year old would get bored quite quickly doing that.

Depends on your budget. Its got to let the 2 year free-play/wander, but interest your six year old.

Tbh, soft play, in this weather, is an easy solution. Unless there are interesting woods, with play area near you, or farm, or an aquarium (which is expensive).

Also, do you like swimming?
