I was laying in bed drifting off to sleep when I could feel a weird sensation on my knee. I do get nervey pains and odd sensations in my legs anyway so I kept rubbing it with my other foot. The sensation got a little more noticeable. Eventually I looked with the phone light and saw a bug of some sort on my knee. I jumped up and flung my leg so it would get off, thankfully DH is home. I shouted at him to wake up there's something in the bed. Little bit embarrassed because I was almost crying! It was an elephant hawk moth caterpillar! I don't know how it was in the bed, the bed was made this morning and we dont have any pets. DH has had the doors and windows open until late this evening despite the freezing cold!
So now I can't sleep. I have a thing about caterpillars, slugs etc and now my mind is in overdrive. Funnily enough if it was a spider I would have been fine.
