Appropriate compensation?

If you had to leave a cinema or theatre performance due to a fire alarm (false alarm due to a fault) part way though (with no restart), would you expect anything more than a refund? Eg as a goodwill gesure or to compensate for your wasted time in having to rewatch the first part ofthe film/play again to see the ending or to compensate you for the disappointment of missing the ending?

Not a big issue but it happened to my DSis and she was disappointed not to get more than a refund (although she is not the type to have pushed it). I think she saw about 75% of the film (a long one).

This happened to us and I think we got a refund on tickets and food/drink, plus tickets to see another film of our choice for free.

No compensation. I suppose you could argue for compo for loss of enjoyment, but personally I wouldn't bother. It's a bit churlish and grabby imho.
