Currently a joint claim so I assume it will be a new claim in my name alone? Due to my circumstances I will not be put onto Universal (thank christ), but I cant remember how long a new claim for tax credits usually takes. I have read the info on their site, but I wondered if anyone had any experience of it.
I really dont know how I will manage to pay the bills if it takes the 4 to 5 weeks they say as I am currently only working 16 hours a week.
