I like most things made with pastry such as cheese and onion or Yorkshire pasties or sausage rolls. You can't beat a good old-fashioned pork pie from the butcher's though. HP Sauce is a must. I'm going there very soon.

Quite like stuff like bhajias and samosas as well. The ones from the deli counter in Morrison's are usually pretty good.

I like salt and vinegar Ringo’s. Home Bargains 99p for 6 pack and only 67 calories a pack. What’s not to like?

Growingboys · 02/11/2018 13:54

Worcester Sauce French Fries. I get them in multipacks from Ocado and eat two most nights.

MawkishTwaddle · 02/11/2018 13:56

I like a cheapo 80s corn-based snack.

So, Wotsits, Frazzles, Monster Munch are all winners.

I love a packet of Mini-Cheddars.

Marks and Spencer's Cheese Tasters and their ready salted Chipsticks are pretty much crack.

Love fresh samosas when they're still warm.

Fish pate on crackers, cubed cheese and olives. Marinated bean salad, artichokes, gherkins

IndigoSpritz · 02/11/2018 15:57

I'll go for most crisps and snacks like Pringles and Mini Cheddars. I'd forgotten about Ringos though.

Mushroom pate is also excellent. As is mackerel or crab.

BTW today's pork pie was splendid.

Olives and salted almonds. There are great ones sold in bulk down at the local Turkish shop

ThistleAmore · 02/11/2018 16:05

Not sweet-toothed in the slightest and mostly bored by anything carb-based such as crisps or crackers, but would rip your arm off for cured/salted/marinated veg - gherkins, pickled onions, capers, olives. Roasted salted almonds, too.

Also crunchy veg - cucumbers, carrots, radishes - with tzatiki.

Have recently been going nuts for this 'veggie' kebab.

IndigoSpritz · 02/11/2018 18:16

Morrison's antipasti dishes are good but a little pricey. Stuff like black olives, mushrooms and red pepper in a chilli dressing. Very tasty. Their cheese and onion rolls aren't bad either.

Tesco's sour cream and chive lentil curls. Only 85p for 6 bags and they are lush.

ipswichwitch · 02/11/2018 18:37

The Lidl version of lentil curls are lush too. Especially the sweet chilli ones

Babybearsporij · 02/11/2018 18:40

I love Bombay Mix and all it's variations. There is a huge selection of the Cofresh brand ones in a few supermarkets by me, so I'm spoiled for choice.

I also like salty popcorn & beef monster munch.

violeticecream · 02/11/2018 18:48

I love all savoury snacks but especially wotsits, salt n vinegar twirls, cheese savouries, m&s lentil curls, square crisps ect ect ect!!

Tobythecat · 02/11/2018 18:57

Crawfords cheese savouries. A big bag for 79p in home bargains. You can also get them from Tesco.

SymphonyofShadows · 02/11/2018 18:59

At the moment it's black pepper kettle chips, but I'm also partial to Walkers sweet chilli sensations

Katedotness1963 · 02/11/2018 19:22

Ritz crackers topped with cream cheese and a slice of cherry tomato, I could eat them till they were coming out my eyes...

toolazytothinkofausername · 02/11/2018 19:26

Cracker, slice of cheese, with plenty of red onion chutney Grin

hellokittymania · 02/11/2018 20:07

There is a Turkish shop near me that has a lot of Mediterranean items in it. They sell these little bruschetta type biscuits that come in all different flavors. You can find Mediterranean, mushroom, four cheese, pizza, herbs, and they are so good.

SandysMam · 02/11/2018 20:12

I buy blocks of puff pastry, add grated strong cheddar then roll and fold a couple of times before cutting and twisting into cheese straws. Bake in a hot oven until crispy. Perfection!! Also love pork scratchings...and i’m a vegetarian Blush

LadyOfTheCanyon · 02/11/2018 20:13

Nachos
Doritos heatwave with sour cream
Wotsits
Quavers
Mini cheddars
Babybels

Bollocks I've made myself hungry now.

marmaladecats · 02/11/2018 20:25

Some of these suggestions sound yum!
I love the chilli rice cakes (the hard ones about the size of a large coin) dipped in humus. And crisps of course.

NameChanger22 · 02/11/2018 20:30

We have a Korean supermarket near us which is amazing for snacks. We especially like the sweetcorn puffs which taste exactly like buttered sweetcorn. And we love Mori Koi, which is a crunchy rice cracker with a sweet and salty glaze and bits of seaweed on it.

We like nearly all the snacks in there, we've tried a lot.

A580Hojas · 02/11/2018 20:31

I love everything that involves cheese and pastry God help me.

dellacucina · 02/11/2018 22:27

I feel like an idiot for having forgotten basic, high quality, very crispy salted crisps. it's basically the perfect snack.

Spandang · 02/11/2018 22:38

Cofresh chilli and lemon grills
Definitely the chilli crackers
Seaweed peanut crackers
Basil and pecorino dip from Waitrose, especially with the black pepper potato snacks you get at Christmas (the ones that are all different shapes)
Filled tuc crackers
The garlic crackers from Tesco with some super strong cheese.
Quite partial to a slice of Greggs pepperoni pizza too, for some reason it just tastes better when it’s baked in pepperoni grease

Longdistance · 02/11/2018 22:41

Scampi flavoured fries. Always lick my fingers after finishing the pack Blush
