What do you think about Rio Ferdinand/Kate Wright and the staged marriage proposal?

I just look at it and think Oh God No How Dreadful!

But I am oldish and not much taken with social media. There's so much stuff I see online shared by other people where I really think it should be kept private or for a limited audience.

As for the very minor celebrities who arrange for pap photos, and all the people who feed off their "careers". Don't get me started.

I think they deserve every happiness as a family after everything they have been through and couldn’t give a crap about the staged photos!

If they are ok with it and his kids are ok with it then it's no skin off my nose. His first wife was exceptionally savvy with business. If this does his 'brand' a bit of good as well as securing personal happiness she would doubtless be right behind it.

They weren't pap photos as they both used them to announce it on their social media. I think it was really sweet Rio wanted to document a happy moment in his and his children's lives after the devastating loss they had three years ago.

They all deserve some happiness so I don’t care if it was staged. Perhaps he needed to do something so different to his first marriage proposal. Who knows. I’m pleased for him and his kids. I hope she loves them.

It sounds like his wife's death had a profound effect on him and his character nd meeting him had a profound effect on Kate's life and how she was living it.

I think we all need love in our lives and they seem really happy.

I think after everything he's been through he deserves another chance at happiness, as do his kids. If they wanna do a cheesy proposal then good for them. I've met him, genuinely lovely guy
