10 month old poorly ten days after being in hospital

My 10month old was in hospital for 3nights 4 days with a chest infection and bronchiolitis. He's been home for 10 days he's woken up this morning with a temp of 38.9 and really drowsy and sleepy. Gave him Calpol at 12 he then had a 2 hr nap woke up and has been playing. (Due to Calpol working) his temperature has gone up again but unsure if this is a reoccurence of the same infections. What would other mummies do?

I would phone my GP and see if they could squeeze him in. If not, 111.

Ring 111 and ask for advice x

I just unsure if the will do what they did last time took them nearly a week for them to do anything. Basically it took then until he was struggling to breath for them to do anything. I just hate going to be told it's a viral infection if ya get what I mean.

Explain the full situation to 111 it's not worth ignoring x

As PPs said, it is not worth ignoring so I would ring 111. The thing about bronchiolitis is that a baby can be ok with it for a few days before getting to a point where they need hospitalisation and there isn't any treatment that can be given beforehand. As you will have discovered there is no treatment for bronchiolitis, just oxygen if he needs it and help with feeding if he is too unwell to feed. It is possible to have bronchiolitis again unfortunately, or he could have some other infection, but definitely get it checked out.
