It's a fiver here for a 4 bed semi. We do our own though with one of those extended pole things from Wilco.

BrazzleDazzleDay · 01/11/2018 15:02

£6 for a 3 bed terrace.

LulusMiniEgg · 01/11/2018 15:02

£10 for a 4 bed detached every 4 weeks

Bonkersblond · 01/11/2018 15:03

Hmmm, mine appears expensive but regular window cleaners are like gold dust round here.

PrivateParkin · 01/11/2018 15:04

Ours is a tenner for a two bed house!! I think we're being ripped off Hmm Am going to get a pole thing from Wilkos! Thanks for the tip RomanyRoots

Worieddd · 01/11/2018 15:04

£10 3 bed semi

patphelan · 01/11/2018 15:05

£6 every month, 2 bed mid terraced house.

WhyNotFeeling · 01/11/2018 15:05

£20 4 bed detached in Home Counties. Have a feeling I’m being ripped off, but he likes a good chat and I’d feel mean turning him away

NoArmaniNoPunani · 01/11/2018 15:06

£5 for 3bed semi. I think it's too cheap

lpchill · 01/11/2018 15:07

We had the window cleaner come once to do the guttering and facias £80 then he wanted to charge £12 for a normal window clean on a two bed mid terrace! We only have four windows. We brought one of those extending poles off amazon for £10 and we get a much better result and can clean the windows when we want. Round the front we just fill a bucket and do it that way.

maskingtape · 01/11/2018 15:08

£8 for a 2 bed terrace. A fair few windows for a small house though.

cheaperthebetter · 01/11/2018 15:11

£4 3 bed semi one side £8 for both monthly

wowfudge · 01/11/2018 15:15

Ours is more expensive than any of those! But we have three storeys and several awkward to reach windows. In two and a half years we've had three window cleaners. Only the current one who has all the pole equipment does a proper job. The others under quoted for the work involved and then lost interest/couldn't clean everything.

SuperstarDJ · 01/11/2018 15:17

£20 for 3 bed detached plus conservatory.

Megan2018 · 01/11/2018 15:19

Previous house was £14 in rural East Mids - he's not been yet to the new place so not sure what the difference will be.

New house is bigger but weirdly fewer windows due to layout (10 windows plus french doors compared to 12 windows, french doors, back door and front door sidelight).

He doesn't come all that frequently - every 2-3 months and with no warning. There is a more regular guy but he charges min of £30 which is extortionate!

Turnedacorner · 01/11/2018 15:19

Jeez, we must be being ripped off, we pay £45 for a 4 bed detached with conservatory. We are in Surrey, I wonder if that makes a difference?

This is the one we got. At a fiver we would pay a cleaner but I've seen how he does our neighbours windows and you can't just use anyone, they have rounds and you have to have the same one.

RomanyRoots · 01/11/2018 15:30

Turned
Grin a huge difference. We are in the NW, a town with lots of pockets of deprivation and degeneration.
You are believed to be rolling in it if you are in Surrey. Grin

Wheresmrlion · 01/11/2018 15:33

£28 for a three bed semi with small sunroom thing in Surrey. Only have it done every 12 weeks because it’s so expensive!

Seaelf · 01/11/2018 15:38

£ 4.50, 3 bed semi. It's only gone up 50p in the 14 years I've used them Smile

Kasikapaie · 01/11/2018 15:38

£40 NE Highlands, but we have awkward to reach windows and quite far for her to travel from her usual window cleaning areas.

Tobythecat · 01/11/2018 15:39

I pay £15 for a 2 bed mid terrace. He cleans the windowsills and fascias and my patio doors. Its a professional company and they use those pole things. You get what you pay for i think.
