Party noise?

We have has new neighbours just move in, quite a young girl who is currently having a pretty loud party and can hear everything. We also have a 3 month old baby. What time do you think it is reasonable to be playing loud music till on a weekday? Tia

I so feel your pain having lived next door to a rented student share house when we had young kids but you need to check what Council noise regs are and if they fall within those parameters there is nothing you can do legally ☹️ Best thing is to make friends, go say hi with your cute baby so if you need to go round in the future and ask if they wouldn't mind turning down the music so cute baby can sleep they will be sympathetic.

I went round at half 11 and asked them to turn it down a bit (luckily had the little baby card to play). They were nice enough, think just excited and carried away in their new house and not realising how the sound carries through the walls. It was all winding down then anyway
