Does it have to be central Manchester? Greens in West Didsbury is fab but about 4 miles/20 mins out of city centre.

1847 is a vegetarian restaurant.

What's your budget? Evening or lunch? Group size?

Rachelsholiday · 31/10/2018 23:47

3 people budget £40 per head??

Spinningfields has some nice places, iberica is a tapas restaurant. Oast house. San Marco is decent Italian. 20 stories is good. Depends what you like really.

Another vote for 1847. Or for Indian food Bundobust or Mowgli are fab too.
Greens can be a bit hit or miss, IME.

Mowgli is really good
V-rev
Ply have a seperate veggie/vegan menu.
Evuna have lots of veggie options and it’s all delicious.

Bundobust is great and completely vegetarian, so fine for everyone unless they're of the 'must have meat' variety. Might be too casual if you're looking at somewhere smart, but if you want excellent Indian vegetarian food, and craft beer, it's lovely.

I've only ever been to the Leeds one, but I'm sure the quality will be the same. Owned by the same people who run Prashad, which won a national TV competition a few year's ago for the best Indian restaurant in the UK.
