Does this exist? Running app

I know there are apps that track how much you run etc... but I was wondering if there is an app where I can just run where ever I want and it will tell me in my ear Every time I've run a certain distance? Maybe every quarter of a mile or something. I want to run without planning a route and don't want to keep getting my phone out

Strava does this.

Both Endondo and Runkeeper will do this, you just need to set the appropriate audio settings.

Nike run club does this too. And I think if you have an Apple Watch the fitness app will do it too
