Have a 3 year old nephew coming for the weekend. What toys (from ELC) are good for that age group please?

I have teens and am now way out of touch with littlies. I plan to buy a few toys from ELC for Great Nephew which he can play with whilst he is here, and take away with him for early Christmas presents. What's good for 3 years olds? (needs to be ELC because I shall visit that shop - can't be anything online as not time for it to arrive)

Many thanks

Any of them. Three is a great age, you could go up or down in maturity of toys and he'd still have fun. Indulge what you like and I'm sure he'll like it too.

Great - so essentially I have a free reign. I will get in touch with my inner child and will buy what appeals to me

When all of mine were 3 they loved small world characters, people, animals, cars. ELC have a happyland collection which is fab.

How about a few toy cars or trucks? Or duplo building bricks?
Chunky colouring crayons/pencils and some big sheets of paper as well.
Play doh always seems to be a hit too.
Im just going on what my DS was into at that age. He’s a teen now so it’s hard to remember!
Also, how about a Disney DVD or a couple of story books?

Play doh was the biggest hit here at that age. A couple of tubs and a few cutters would probably be winners. Elc does it's own brand of dough which is actually very good.

Animals, cars & trains usually

At that age I lost my living room floor to wooden train track and Thomas tank engine trains!!

Good thing is you can never have too much track/trains/stations/trucks so you don’t need to worry about him already having it as it all fits together.
