Broken toe

I think i broke my big toe. I tripped and landed on it today. Hurt so much i wanted to throw up. Now its just pain and throbbing. Under the print is swollen in an odd shape. Iv tried ice and panadol. Its now 11pm (stubbed it arpund 12 hrs ago) im finding it hard to walk. But is there any point in going to drs all he will say is yes or no its broken. I feel so silly wasting thier time for a stubbed toe. Plus is my driving foot llk

Depending on what toe it is try to tape it to the next one

If it's big toe do go to Doctor as it could be possibly set and may affect your gait long term. Any other they will just say to strap it to the next one

I broke my2nd toe 5 months ago and it's still painful sadly but as it was not big toe was told nothing much could be done

I was told by NHS direct to go to a walk in centre with a suspected broken big toe, the little ones they don’t worry about so much

Big to go and get it seen to. The rest aren't that important but the big one is. Go today.

DH broke his big toe years ago and didn't see a doc.

He's still struggling with it now and has had recent surgery to try to fix it. Doc said it wouldn't have been anywhere near such a problem if he'd seen someone when he first broke it.

It's affecting how he walks, and now his stance, which is causing back and hip problems.

Please go and get it looked at. I broke my big toe and even 18 years later it still gives me pain. It also effects my walk causing me to be very lopsided. I can't wear any shoes that have any heel. I so wish I had done something about it.

I will go and get it checked in the morning thanx guys. I didnt cry and i can slightly move it although very painful. I thought if u could move it its not broken. Hopefully just sprained. Gah annoying
