Buying and selling on Shpock

I've just registered with Shpock, am looking for a specific item to buy.

It's quite frustrating to click on a photo and see that it was last updated months ago and has a string of undated questions under it saying things like "Hi is this still for sale?" and no reply from the seller.

Would you assume that the item is sold if you saw that? If so, why don't sellers remove the listings so we aren't all wasting our time?

Any thoughts or tips for a newbie? Thanks!

I love shpock but yes, you do have to keep an eye on listings as they are frequently left ignored.
I tend to assume most older stuff, especially large items, are long gone and I just browse on newly listed.

I've sold a fair bit on there though, and bought too, especially now they are linked with Paypal so some sellers will post.
