Halloween Treats

I moved recently & live alone on a small estate with children of all sizes around. I know my immediate neighbours to chat to, & say Hello to everyone else I meet, but don't know anyone particularly well.

I get home at 5.45pm & then go out on a Wednesday between 7.15 & 10pm, so I'll be around if any little ones come knocking, but most likely out if any older ones do.

WIBU to leave a bag of treats in my porch so any latecomers can help themselves?

I'd be leaving lights on inside so it looks like I'm at home, & the outside light on so I can see my way back in. I don't want the door egging because a group of teens thinks I'm in & not answering the door!

Anything not taken would go into work with me on Thursday Smile

I'm not sure I understand the feminism angle, assuming you posted in the wrong place...

Is it normal where you are that teenagers egg houses?

We've moved the thread to chat now. Flowers

Ha ha yes - wrong place - thanks Lorna!

Egging can be a thing, yes.
