Travel tonight or tomorrow? Votes?

This is about the most boring thread ever...I need to work away for a few days.

I was planning to travel to the city tomorrow morning but it has occurred to me I could go this evening and get in at 11pm. It's perfectly safe. This means about an hour of packing shortly.

I prefer evening travel though I know it's a bit late.

But if you go tonight where are you planning to stay for the night? You can't just get there at 11pm and hang around until the morning. Have you/can you book a hotel at short notice? Have you actually thought this through properly??????

Go early tomorrow morning.

LanguidLobster · 30/10/2018 18:47

It's fine, I've got friends and relatives in the city.

Told you this would be a boring thread, think I'll go tonight as nighttime is better for my agoraphobia (god I sound like a vampire).

One hour then need to pack, thank you :)

If your relatives are Ok with your 11pm arrival (or a bit later), go tonight.

Go tonight.

If I was expecting you tomorrow I would not want you suddenly announcing you were arriving at 11.

But if you're sure your "friends and relatives" won't be washing their spare bedsheets/in bed for work already/entertaining other guests/etc etc, go nuts.

No I've spoken to them, the only thing they said is 'but won't you need to eat? And will you be OK?'.

I'd rather get the travelling over and done with tonight as I get so very tired at the moment and I've got a bit of energy at present. Sorry, bit of a redundant thread in a way as I was trying to crystallise it as I was writing.

It would be awful if I had an energy slump or phobia about travel tomorrow morning and couldn't travel to work, I'd be so behind on bills. Anyway thank you all, packing shortly to commence.
