So, I went to get the sprouts prepped for the big day, so they are adequately cooked, I know I'm late, don't flame me.

However... the humble brussel has been renamed, to the yorkshire sprout. Why??

Because they were grown in Yorkshire

LanguidLobster · 30/10/2018 18:00

I guess they're from Yorkshire?

This is like a trick question

IsabelleSE19 · 30/10/2018 18:02

To get the authentic annoying too-many-s's sound of the original they should call them Leeds sprouts.

I like the way you have two talons on them as if expressing your disapproval at them renaming themselves Wink

Why change the name, what if my recipe requires brussel sprouts

I bought some from Aldi the other day and for the purposes of research I just had a look at the packaging for you. They are grown in Lincolnshire and the legend reads:

"British Brussels Sprouts"

Pro Brexit vegetable 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
