Thicko question alert about Freepost

If an address has the words FREEPOST in it - does that mean I don’t need to put a stamp on the envelope? I know that sounds obvious, but surely anyone could just write that?

Yes you don't need a stamp. There must be some kind of system thing, I suppose.

No stamp needed..
They go to the local delivery office for that address then all get gathered together and counted. The company gets billed for the postage.

Don't ask the post office because if they're anything like mine they'll give you a sarcastic answer and you'll end up in an argument 🙄
