Anyone who knows me will know immediately this is me.... lol

Tucking DS (4) into bed last night. I said if he's good that he can go and see my parents tomorrow and they might take him out for dinner.

Then he says "Grandma is taking me to the farm". I said "No, not a farm". He said "Yes! Yesterday you and Grandma said a farm!"

I was puzzled... then recalled us leaving my parents on Sunday and saying they might take him to McDonald's on Tuesday for lunch....

I chuckled - actually feeling quite proud of him connecting the two, even if it would take 6 degrees of separation.... and said "No... It's a cafe where you have dinner". He said "Ok... can I feed the animals..." 🤣🐮🐷

my DD was exactly the same, I don't know what it is about McD's advertising but as a small child in car seat driving along she'd point to the M sign and go there is Mc D's , she knew the brand but had never been in there, she used to ask all about it, at some stage we had a reward chart at home, with rewards at 5, 10 15 stars etc , she got to pick the big reward for when she got 20 stars, she picked a trip to Mc Donalds, so it was huge the day she first went got in door and burst into tears 'cos there were no animals and where was the farm
