It scares me as to how many people have a mental health diagnsis, put on mental health medication and all the problems that come from that when it could be a physical cause. A study was done on depression patients in a mental health clinic and only 7% of people had adequate vit D levels, so 93% were deficient, how much depression, fatigue was caused by that vit D level? The hospital wasn’t screening for it, only the study found it. I’m also very concerned about the rise in people being diagnosed with FND, I find it hard to believe all this people have mental health issues that are presenting as neurological symptoms (I don’t doubt some are) and can’t help but think it’s a lot like people who do have Pandas undiagnosed(there’s some similar conditions to pandas linked to other causes) and actually it’s a case of ‘we don’t know so let’s blame mental health’

God that article describes my child to a T.

I actually feel quite shocked and emotional after reading it. Dc went from being the sunniest, carefree toddler to a highly sensitive, anxious and stressed child virtually overnight after a sudden illness. He exhibits almost every behaviour on that checklist.

Thank you OP for posting this Thanks
