What made Dd leg bleed in night?

Dd11 woke up with this on her leg this morning, when I told her to wipe it it started bleeding again.

She basically just woke up with it, older Dd has claimed it's a spider bite Shock doesn't help that Dd woke up shouting she thought there was a giant spider in her room... I'm scared of spiders so told her to check if it was she then said no just a big lump of hair

but if it was it would be as but as s cat as distance between the two is about a inch and a half

So what is it

They look like insect bites she's scratched in her sleep. Do you have pets? Might be flea bites.

EBearhug · 30/10/2018 08:05

Vampire, obviously.

I would think they're two separate bites by the same thing, rather than a single bite. If you have a cat or dog, could be fleas. Otherwise, I would think some sort of missing or midge that's come in from the cold.

For missing, read mossie.

Nope no pets, very strange perfectly in line but more little slits not spots

Don't bedbugs bite in straight lines like that?

headinhands · 30/10/2018 08:18

Check her toe nails haven't got a jagged bit.

WeeDangerousSpike · 30/10/2018 08:19

Did she cut her leg shaving then scratch it in the night?

leopardprintchick · 30/10/2018 08:31

Will check toenails

Bedbugs, I'm quite paranoid about these so check regularly and never seen anything. What's the signs to look out for will check again today

Looks like a sharp toe nail has caught her leg to me.

DaysDragonBy · 30/10/2018 08:46

Sharp toenail.

ErrolTheDragon · 30/10/2018 09:04

Two points always will be perfectly in line... if you mean straight down her leg, could be coincidence but would fit with the jagged toenail theory.

SurfnTerfFantasticmissfoxy · 30/10/2018 09:09

She's scratched herself with a finger or toenail

DaffydownClock · 30/10/2018 09:12

I'd say jagged toenail too having had this myself.

siakcaci · 30/10/2018 09:21

They are not bites. Looks like she has scratched it or something.
