I love them but my friend said they look like school shoes.

Nice or not?

Em, ... not sure. I think I do like them but not for £295.

SilverHairedCat · 29/10/2018 21:23

I agree with your friend I'm afraid. But hugely expensive school shoes.

SuperstarDJ · 29/10/2018 21:25

I agree with your friend. Only school shoes are £250 cheaper.

KlutzyDraconequus · 29/10/2018 21:26

They remind me of old man shoes the likes of which Roy Cropper buys from ShoeZone

MikeUniformMike · 29/10/2018 21:26

No. 295 euros is too much IMO. You could order them and return them if you find they don't quite fit right.

TeeBee · 29/10/2018 21:27

Boys school shoes.

TheNavigator · 29/10/2018 21:29

Velcro strap, I repeat, Velcro strap. Just no.

MikeUniformMike · 30/10/2018 20:05

I would look for a cheaper similar style or go for a derby or a monk shoe. The velcro strap is a bit naff.

JosellaPlayton · 30/10/2018 20:07

Ugly orthopaedic shoe. For the money you can do loads better.

Citylivingwithdogs · 30/10/2018 20:10

I love that style but I have seen nicer ones. Look at Church’s brogues; similar but more stylish.

MikeUniformMike · 31/10/2018 08:09

I was going to suggest Church's. Similar but classic and if you look after them, should last a lifetime.

Fairylea · 31/10/2018 08:12

Hugely overpriced in my opinion.

Even Dr Martens have similar styles at half the price and they are fabulously made and great quality.

ASOS also have similar styles for £40 ish.

They’re not my kind of thing but I think with the right outfit they could look nice.
