Apple iPhone XR or 8 plus ??

I'm due an upgrade but could also switch providers and get the above with good monthly PAYG rate.
I really want a bigger screen which the XR has but they would do me better monthly rate on 8+ (20% off).

Does anyone know how good either of these are?
I have an iPhone 7 at the moment.
Thank you!!

I have an 8+ and I love it...for the first time ever Im not even remotely tempted to upgrade.

The 8+ has a pretty big screen too doesn't it? iPhone 7 is 4.7" so certainly bigger than that?!

DH and I have both just upgraded from the 7 to the XR.

Christ this thing is huge. Still slightly smaller than the 8+ though I think.

Apple have a handy thing on their website where you can compare the various models. In all honesty, we only got the XR because we liked the colours 😂

@Stephisaur I was told that the XR is bigger than the 8+? Would you not agree?

@ohcobblers the screen is bigger because it’s edge to edge, but the XR is smaller than the 8+ overall.

This might help www.apple.com/iphone/compare/

Got the 8 and I love it!

Picked up an XR on Friday and it’s bloody brilliant. Quick, smooth, and I’ve got used to the upsize much faster than I thought I would (upgraded from the 6s) also enjoying lording the faster processor over DH’s X for once

Thanks for all the tips - the XR is on its way!! 📱Wink
