Dammit I’m locked out

We got a new lock on the door in addition to existing lock. I haven’t put new key on my key ring yet.
Can’t get hold of DH. Sitting on the porch surrounded by my grocery bags eating crisps.
Bored and cold now!!

Ah crap... What time is he home?

I would leave the shopping and go to the pub or a cafe. Will be warmer.

I think he might be able to come home after his meeting....

I kind of can’t be assed to go to a cafe although I could. I have my car and handbag.

He is about 25 mins away by car so I could drive to him but want to speak to him first to see if I can.

This is entirely my fault too!!

Are you back in now? I feel your pain. At least you had crisps and your car keys!

I am in!!! I drove to his work in the end and just as I pulled up he called me. Phew!!
