Quick question about fish pie

I’m just making a fish pie and have a frozen pack of fish pie mix. I’d like to get it all ready now for cooking later but is it ok to put the warm sauce on the fish then top with warm mashed potato or should I wait for it all to cool down before assembling it? Thanks.

Personally I make it up warm then fridge until needed.
Make sure you cook it through, any prawns?

Yes was going to stick it in the fridge when it’s cooled. Yes, there are frozen pre-cooked prawns.

Later today? I'd make it up warm then put it in the fridge u til you want to reheat it.

If the prawns are precooked I wouldn't worry.
