Has anyone bought one successfully and its brilliant?

My friend bought one last week. It's buggered.

We've bought 3 from the iOutlet. Mine was absolutely immaculate when I got it. I can't recommend them enough.

Only ever buy from places with return/replacement policies. That goes for any refurbished electronics, though.

Best to buy them online for delivery so you're covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations and have two weeks to cancel for any reason.

I got mine from Direct Mobiles with a sim only contract from EE. Still going strong 2 years later!

This is really timely, and such helpful advice. I need a new phone cos my old one is just slowing down and not working any more and I'm really fed up with paying so much for the phone, built into the monthly contract. Had read on MSE about buying a refurb but had felt a bit nervous and didn't know where to go.

Apple do refurbished on their website if you look hard enough!!

I brought 2 - iPhone 6 is quite weak and the screens are weak - never again!!

iPhone 6S seems more substantial - look for ones with warranties

CEX. Got a refurbished iPhone 6s for £300 about a year ago. Not a single problem x

I've bought several from GiffGaff. They're unlocked and come with 6 months warranty. The iPhone 6s I bought last was immaculate and was £179

Mine came from Argos and is brilliant!

My DD bought herself an iPhone 5S from cex at the beginning of the year and hasn't had any problems. She uses it quite a lot to access the internet and has downloaded apps. I think she paid £140.

I used music magpie for two pristine condition iPhone se phones for my children. They are in perfect condition and work brilliantly. 12 months warranty as well. Recommended from me!
