Ski-ing trip

I'm looking at booking our first family ski/snow experience holiday.
The DCs have learnt to ski recently in the UK and my DH and I are both competent skiers.
Can anyone recommend somewhere in Europe where we can ski, but the whole week isn't just about skiing? I'm not looking for ski school every day type holiday. More of a family ski trip every other day and enjoy local sights/winter activities for the other days. I'm looking at going early Jan or Feb half term.

You might need a bit of a reality check.

You need lessons for your children. Sure fire way to create more problems for later if they don’t continue with an instructor and you and DH just take them about.

You’ll struggle to get lessons ‘every other day’ unless you’re getting a private instructor (and even then might be harder than you think).

Feb HT is the most crazy expensive week of the year.

I would go for a pretty resort with other activities to do (ice coating, nice pool, sledging etc) and book in a full week of morning lessons. Then your children will have a nice balance of learning and not getting too tired. In the afternoons you could do a couple of runs together as a family or not do any skiing and instead rest, swim, sledge etc.
