Dorma (Dunelm) Sateen bedding

Is it meant to feel like cheap linen? I was told it would be really soft and smooth but it's got this weird prickly almost feeling. I got the 500 thread count.

Anyone?

If you can feel prickles, it's probably your tiny bits of rough skin snagging on the very smooth fabric. I've had the same issue with quality silk pillowcases!

I don't have dry skin, especially not on my face.
