Just took tea out and handed it over to cb. He said "thank you very much". And I said (omg, burning up at the memory) "I like it when you say thank you very much". I actually didn't know I was going to say that until it was half way out . It was one of those occasions (which I'm sure we all have, right? Right?) when you start a sentence and don't know how you're going to finish it.

He was looking at me (someone get me a fan, quick!) and I just garbled something about him being so polite. And legged it.

Ha ha ha fantastic, nothing like a stuttering garbled sentence to show how much you like someone. Even the dumbest of men cannot miss that.

I am concerned about the absence of TP though. And ETP (even tinier plasterer). Are they so small they've been washed away in the rain? Fallen through cracks in the paving?

It's the kind of stupid thing you say when you are shy and nervous and forget that you usually have social skills which work and all that.

I think these little chats you're having with CB will eventually seal the deal, but you do need to find out if he's single somehow. Difficult I know, but it will let you know whether to keep going. Just ask if he has any kids...then he'll probably tell you what his situation is without having to dig further.

If he's single, i think you can keep up the casual flirting and see if he asks you out. If not, I think you'll have to throw that 'finished extension party', invite him, look amazing, then you ask him.

Yes to the starting a sentence with no idea where it’s going @Keyra 😂. One board game night with about 20 of my friends (99% from church) playing cranium, charades and Pictionary my —male——friend—(crush), to get my attention when I was talking to someone else when it was our literally put his mouth to my ear and growled. I jumped getting the entire rooms attention and berated him by telling him ‘not to growl at me outside of the bedroom’.

Also I and all my equally inept friends do the why are you doing that thing. I’ve also caught some of them in the starting a sentence and having nowhere to go and the oh fuck why did I say that thing and once why did I sing that.

Cg has texted tonight to say that Tp, due tomorrow, has rearranged until Thursday. If he doesn't come then he's definitely definitely getting ETP (thank you FreezerBird) in. Tomorrow's cast will therefore now be cb and cg, very messy sparky and the boiler man.
