Last year we had severed hands (chips laid out in the shape of hands), pulled flesh (leftover gammon shredded like pulled pork), salad (can't remember what that was though
) and fresh blood for dunking (ketchup).
I thought I'd do a buffet ish tea this year as we're out most of Wednesday, home for tea, then dd2 wants to trick or treat while dd1 stays in and her dad supervises dishing out treats to trick-or-treat-ers.
So far I have acid baked ghosts and bats (pickled onion flavour ghost and bat shaped crisps from Lidl), pumpkin cookies, severed at the knuckles fingers with blood to dunk (cocktail sausages and ketchup) and jelly sweet creepy crawlies.
Could do with a themed sarny maybe? And a couple of other bits.
I've bought some spooky labels from the poundshop so will get a couple of small, funky coloured, bottles of fizzy pop to go with our food & stick the labels to them.
Any other ideas that'll be quick and easy to prepare? [hsmile]
