Can someone help with this slow cooker curry instruction

Aware this is going to make me sound a bit dimwitted but I've only just bought my first slow cookerBlush Instructions are to put a bunch of ingredients in the slow cooker (coconut milk, curry paste, veg) and then put the lid on and 'leave to chill overnight' before cooking on low tomorrow.

I'm assuming leave to chill means I actually have to put the slow cooker in the fridge? It's quite big and will have a struggle to get it in the fridge so just wanted to check I haven't misunderstood this!

Just prepare it in a dish to chill and put it in the slow cooker in the morning.

Just the inner bowl I would’ve thought? Or put it in another bowl and transfer later?

But yes it means the inner dish, not the whole cooker.

Ah I love my slowcooker, stick it on in the morning and the teas made when you get in. Grin
