Anyone lactose intolerant?

Any advice on what foods contain lactose that you wouldn't expect?

Did you feel better straight away after avoiding it or did it take some time?

Crisps! E.g. Pringles. Lots of crisps are coated in flavouring that has lactose in it.
It takes a couple of weeks to feel the real benefit if you are just intolerant rather than allergic, obviously.
Oreos are lactose free though, so it's not all bad!

It’s in a lot of bread and pastry products l, but the range of lactose-free products is actually pretty good compared to just a couple of years ago.

Cakes, biscuits, break cereals, some cooked meats, cooking sauces.
Takes a few weeks

I take lactase tablets before eating lactose and it stops the symptoms as it replaces the enzyme you are missing
