Some people really make me want to not post on Mumsnet. I've used this forum a lot over the years but lately I'm just noticing a lot of bitchiness.

I put something on this afternoon and then was berated because it had already been posted about. Like I sit refreshing Mumsnet all day to check the topics that have been covered. It's like some people think that they are the only ones who are allowed to post or have an opinion

Just ignore them and carry on.

We should still post and call them out on it, without derailing the thread.

Have you NC?

Did you post about the turkey teddy monstrosity?

Interested in this thread?

Then you might like threads about this subject:

Ah that sucks but don’t let it put you off. I’ve on occasion had to hide threads to stop myself answering back and getting into a stupid bungight when people have got unnecessarily spiteful. The best thing is to not engage it only feeds them rather than make you feel better.

kaytee87 · 27/10/2018 22:56

Did you post about gluten free shampoo? If so, no one berated you at all.

Crunchymum · 27/10/2018 22:57

But it was the turkey teddy bear???

To be fair none of the thread titles particularly identified the content of the thread but there were 5 threads about it in two days Sad

sillysausage16 · 27/10/2018 22:57

No I missed that one. I just sometimes think that if people have nothing nice to type - move along

To be honest, you've made a few PA comments on other threads (and started a new thread about it)

Why not just deal with it on the actual thread?

You weren't the first person to post about the turkey / teddybear and it was a hoax. Sorry!!!

jackio2205 · 27/10/2018 23:09

Totally agree hun, sod em, post away! There's enough room on here for everyone and even.... multiple posts dare i say. Whatevers next, soggy crumpets. Crying out loud, who would even have the energy to comment on whether something has been said before, who bloody cares. You do you boo 😘

Crunchymum · 27/10/2018 23:12

TAAT aren't allowed.

Just sayin..... hun

JacquesHammer · 27/10/2018 23:20

People get off on being unnecessarily spiteful.

It makes me roll my eyes more than anything.

Don’t take it personally.
